Spotted for the first time in Wayzata (MN)

I usually wouldn’t take pics of a normal G Wagon, but this one stuck out to me because of the license plate. Instead of a normal Minnesota plate, this one is from Baja California Sur in Mexico! And it somehow ended up 2000 miles away in Wayzata! I have a lot of questions as to how a car from Mexico got here, especially a G Wagon.

@silcar My first thought was that too, but it has official Mexico 2024 tags, so it is definitely real.
