A never before seen XJ220

The XJ220 is a rather overlooked Jaguar from the 90s. Unlike other supercars from that era, this car is much less popular, price-stable, and thus less frequently seen. However, it is an incredibly special vehicle and always well-regarded within the spotter community.

The Jaguar XJ220 is a legendary supercar that was produced from 1992 to 1994. Originally introduced as a concept car in 1988, it reached an impressive top speed of 341.7 km/h, making it the fastest production car of its time. Powered by a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine with 542 hp, this engine replaced the originally planned V12 due to emission and weight restrictions.
Its aerodynamic design, developed by Jaguar's advanced engineering department, ensures minimal air resistance and maximum speed. With a limited production of only 275 units and a sale price of around £470,000, the XJ220 is a coveted collector's item. Today, purchasing an XJ220 costs between £500,000 and £600,000, which is not a significant increase in value compared to other supercars of that era.
The name XJ220 stands for "Experimental Jaguar" and the number 220 refers to the originally targeted top speed of 220 mph. The car impressed with excellent handling and won the 1993 24 Hours of Le Mans in the GT class, highlighting its performance capabilities. The Jaguar XJ220 remains a milestone in the history of supercars.
This particular example, discovered in Laren, Netherlands, appeared for the first time. However, if you start a search under this license plate, you will be surprised to find that this car belongs to a proud car collection, which includes an F40, an Enzo Ferrari, a 365 Daytona, and many other rare cars.
