It has already been some time since the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV was unveiled. Shortly after, the first model appeared. However, we failed to report on it twice, even though it was truly worth a report. So, read on to learn about the very first all-electric Mercedes-Maybach:

It is clear that Mercedes has long since eased off on the big and powerful engines. And the range of electric cars is also getting larger. Electric cars are booming even in the luxury segment. For example, Rolls-Royce has the all-electric Spectre. However, there is still no super-luxury electric SUV (all SUVs are luxurious nowadays, hence super-luxury).

Mercedes-Maybach once again shows that the era of large-engined, extremely long limousines is over. But what the car has to offer, you will find out right now: The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV is a luxurious all-electric vehicle that boasts a variety of new features. Powered by two electric motors, it offers an impressive total output of about 658 HP (484 kW). Its electric range is up to 600 kilometers, making it an excellent choice for longer trips. Thanks to the fast-charging function, the EQS 680 SUV can be charged to 80% of battery capacity in just about 30 minutes. The interior is distinguished by the highest luxury standards, with high-quality materials, generous space, and state-of-the-art technology, including a large Hyperscreen display. Comfort and luxury are ensured by ventilated and heated massage seats, a premium audio system, and extensive customization options. Essentially, everything that a new generation Maybach has to offer. The vehicle is also equipped with advanced driver assistance systems that provide the highest level of safety and driving comfort. The design of the EQS 680 SUV combines the elegant aesthetics of the Maybach brand with the futuristic design language of the EQ series. The only thing this SUV seems to lack is charm. In 2005, when you drove up in a Maybach 62, you knew exactly what you had spent your money on. It was not only the luxury, aesthetics, and seemingly endless quality but the true status. Whether this is still the case with such an electric vehicle is really doubtful.
Many true Mercedes fans hate all the EQ cars because they know what Mercedes used to offer 10-15 years ago. The same is true for Mercedes-Maybach. Considering what Maybach offered 10 years ago, such a Maybach EQS is almost a disgrace. But decide for yourself how good or bad this car is.
